Conditions of participation
1. This competition is open to all the participants of the Catamarans Cup International Regatta, aged 18 years or over. The competition is organized by the Organizing Committee of the Catamarans Cup International Regatta. During the race the Organizing Committee will announce the judges who are going to vote for the winner of the competition.
2. All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3. Entries should be submitted directly to the Organizing Committee of the Catamarans Cup International after the end of the last leg of the race. Entries must be labeled with the entrant’s name and image files must be minimum 72 dpi / 1-3MB in JPG format. Entrants should include their own name, telephone number and the vessel’s name.
4. All entries must be received by the closing time and date that will be announced by the Organizing Committee.
5. All images submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them, taken during the Catamarans Cup International Regatta and must not have been published elsewhere before. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. Entrants must warrant that the photograph they are submitting is their own work and that they own the copyright for it.
6. Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants; the organizers of the Catamarans Cup International Regatta have the right to use and feature any or all of the submitted images in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional/trade material connected to this race or their similar activities in the future.
7. Three entries per person are allowed. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Entries must not be sent through agencies or third parties.
8. The winning entry will be that that is judged to be the most visually appealing or original or impressive or and self-explanatory of the race, the catamarans, the crews and the sailing area. The winner will be announced during the closing ceremony of the Catamarans Cup International Regatta.
9. One entrant shall win the Catamarans Cup Photo shoot Heptathlon and a single crew member participation for the successive Catamarans Cup International Regatta.
10. The entrants and the winners accept that their names and their images might take part in publicity.
11. Greek law applies and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Greek Courts of Athens shall prevail.
